The academy’s educational framework is designed to support participants in shaping their paths and identities,
providing a solid foundation for a life of action. The core curriculum is divided into three pillars: Leadership,
Israeli Society, and Excellence.
This pillar includes courses on leadership, identity, Jewish texts, and political philosophy. Additionally, participants undertake a three-month social entrepreneurship program, starting with a course in social entrepreneurship, followed by group projects to create fully realized social initiatives under the mentorship of leading Israeli entrepreneurs.
Our goal is to expose participants to the pressing challenges within Israeli society. This pillar includes courses such as Modern Zionism, Economics and Society, History of the Conflict, and Periphery and Center. This year- long process also involves seminars and encounters with representatives from the Arab and ultra-Orthodox communities in Harish.
This pillar is entirely taught by Israeli Air Force pilots, the academy’s founders. It includes courses and lectures
on coping with failure, debriefing as a tool for growth, decision-making, and additional topics.
Tell me and I forget, teach me and I remember, involve me and I learn.

Community engagement brings the academy’s vision to life and forms a central part of the academy journey. Participants volunteer one and a half days a week in several settings in Harish:
Formal settings: Mentoring special education students, new immigrant children, and at-risk youth in various schools in the city.
Informal settings: Operating a learning center for new immigrant children, a recreational center for children with special needs, a “Big Brother” program for children with emotional challenges, and the academy’s Marom Program, which encourages meaningful military service among Harish youth.
Additional volunteering throughout the year: Agricultural work, holiday food packaging, festivals in Harish, and more.
The field series connects participants with Israel’s landscapes and with themselves. Approximately every five weeks, the academy embarks on a field series that includes:
Hikes – Series in Carmel, Jerusalem, Negev, Judea and Samaria, and Galilee. Each hike spans 3–4 days, designed to challenge and bond the group while introducing participants to specific populations or societal issues in Israel.
Navigation – This track features multiple events throughout the year. Participants learn navigation skills in a course taught by the academy’s pilots, practice navigation days of varying difficulty, and focus on the value of debriefing and overcoming failure.
Resilience Series – A physically and mentally challenging series fostering a deep understanding of individual and group challenges in the field—details are left for participants to discover.
This program is designed to prepare participants mentally and physically for meaningful service and leadership in the IDF.
Physical Training: A personalized fitness program led by NAVY FIT, consisting of three weekly fitness sessions. Before pre-screening and tryouts, participants engage in simulations and special preparation days tailored to their goals.
Base Visits and Exposure: At the beginning of the year, participants attend a panel introducing leading roles in the IDF. Base visits include Golani Training Base, Ramon Air Force Base, and the IDF Officer Training School.
Heritage: A series of lectures covering Israel’s wars, serving as inspiration and examples of responsibility and leadership.
