Rakia is dedicated to educating and preparing diverse and leading young individuals for a life path of action and
responsibility toward the future of the State of Israel.
The “who”: Taking initiative as a fundamental value. It is my responsibility to lead and create change. This value is cultivated at the academy through personal and social research, exposure to societal challenges, and acquiring tools to address them effectively.
The “how”: “The aspiration is always one—to rise above.”—Theodor Herzl. Personal exploration and self-
improvement, serving as growth tools, are foundational principles of the academy’s values.
The “why”: We believe that what unites us is greater than what divides us. A diverse leadership network is
essential to advancing the Zionist vision and creating a model society in Israel.
The academy’s curriculum is structured into three pillars: Leadership, Israeli Society, and Excellence. Each pillar
includes courses designed to challenge, develop, and expand the identity of the participants. Approximately one-third of the curriculum is delivered by Israeli Air Force pilots, the academy’s founders.
Community engagement is the practical implementation of the academy’s vision. Participants volunteer one and
a half days a week in a wide range of formal and informal frameworks within the city of Harish.
The field series connects participants with Israel’s landscapes and with themselves. These series include hikes, navigation exercises, and resilience-building activities for an in-depth understanding of the group and personal challenges.
The program includes base visits and exposure to leading roles within the IDF, a personalized training regimen consisting of three weekly fitness sessions, heritage lectures, and dozens of courses and lectures led by past and present Air Force pilots.
